The Freemasons' Grand Charity is a grant-making charity which provides financial grants for Freemasons and their dependants in need. The Charity also provides grants for national charities working in the areas of medical research, vulnerable people and youth opportunities. This includes an annual programme of funding for adults and children's hospice services. The Charity also supports emergency relief efforts following disasters in the UK and overseas.

The Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys provides support that relieves poverty and addresses the educational needs of Freemasons' children and (when funds permit) assisting any children.

The Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution provides residential, nursing and dementia care for older Freemasons and their dependants, as well as short-stay breaks including respite care. Practical advice and support is also offered on health and welfare rights and on all aspects of the services offered by the RMBI, the other Masonic Charities and by statutory and voluntary agencies.

The Masonic Samaritan Fund offers financial support to eligible beneficiaries in the following ways:
Medical Care and Treatment, Dental Care and Treatment, Respite Care, Mobility Aids and Home Adaptations
Support is available to Freemasons, and eligible dependants, who have an identified health or care need and, faced with a long wait for treatment, care, aids or adaptations, cannot afford to pay for private treatment or equipment without incurring financial hardship.
