Association of Friends of Zetland Court

Zetland Court , as most of you will be aware, is the RMBI Care Home that the Province of Wiltshire has the honour to support, indeed many Wiltshire Masons are members of the AFZC. 

The AGM of the Association will be on Saturday the 10 March at the home, all AFZC members are very welcome to attend so please make a note in your diary. Coffee will be available in the lounge from 10.30am with the meeting due to start at 11.00am.

The summer fete is scheduled this year to take place on Saturday the 2 June. This coincides with the Diamond Jubilee celebrations for Her Majesty and we will be marking this fantastic day with some extra events, stalls and attractions as well as a street party on the lawn for the younger visitors.

This year the fete will be opened by the Provincial Grand Master for Dorset, Richard Merritt accompanied by his wife Vikki and many other dignitaries from Hampshire & IoW, Wiltshire and Dorset. There will be a tree from the Her Majesty’s estate planted in the grounds to celebrate this very special day so please bring along your family and friends and join in all the celebrations.

Admission is by ticket priced at £1.00 each, which can be obtained at the gate or from your Charity Steward. The ticket also enters you into the prize draw which takes place during the afternoon, all children will be admitted free of charge. The gates will be open at 1.00pm.

Tickets and notice of the AGM will be posted to all secretaries this coming week.

Zetland Garden Concert 1^st September 2012. This year and for the first time we will be having a late summer garden concert in the grounds of Zetland Court with the Wimborne Orchestra providing entertainment for all who come along. You will need to bring your own chairs and refreshments and entry will be by ticket only as our numbers are limited but you can guarantee that it will be something not to miss. More details will be circulated as soon as possible.
