Provincial Grand Lodge Charity

Provincial Grand Master's Charity Fund

Each year substantial grants from the fund are made to numerous Non-Masonic Charities both within and without Wiltshire.

The fund was originally set up in 1986 for the purpose of investment in order to produce interest for supplementing Provincial Grand Lodge Charity giving. At the time the fund produced approximately £2,500 per year in interest which restricted the amount able to be made by way of grants.

In 1995 an appeal was made to increase the Charity Fund, as a result the fund increased to a sum of over £125,000 and it is from the income generated by this fund that grants are made.

At Provincial Grand Lodge on Thursday 6 October 2011 the following Non-Masonic grants totalling £21,000 were approved.
