Stephen Bridge announces next Mentoring Workshop
The Assistant provincial Grand Master has announced the 2017/18 Provincial Learning and Development programme will commence on Friday 29th September 2017 with the delivery of a Mentors’ Workshop.
It will be held at the Calne Masonic Hall between 7pm and 9pm - tea/coffee provided and plenty of free car parking available.
Stephen said "It is apparent that, since our last delivery of this previously well received presentation, a number of the Brethren undertaking this important role for their Lodge are now ‘new in post’; it is vital that they are properly equipped, qualified and feel confident to carry out the pivotal work required of them."
If your Lodge has a new Mentor, or is looking to make changes during the forthcoming season this is an excellent opportunity – please encourage their attendance if at all possible, it will be beneficial for the individual concerned and for your Lodge.
It is hoped that by moving this delivery session to an evening, it will facilitate attendance by those Brethren who found the Saturday morning slot difficult; also by starting at 7pm we hope working Brethren will find it more convenient.
Brethren wishing to attend the Mentors Workshop are asked to contact Stephen by emailto.

Freemasons from Chaloner Lodge, Wiltshire Lodge of Agriculture and Fiat Lux Lodge will be hosting a visit for members and their ladies of Zur alten Linde Lodge from Dortmund in Germany over the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of June.
The weekend programme will include visits to a number of Wiltshire landmarks with the main event being held on Saturday 3rd June; when Chippenham Masonic Hall will host Assistant Provincial Grand Master of Wiltshire Stephen Bridge who will make a short presentation on the 300 year history of English Freemasonry.
The celebration then moves on to the Neeld Community and Arts Centre where a banquet will take place to honour the special guests from Dortmund.
To round off the occasion a “Gala James Last Tribute Concert” is being staged in the recently refurbished Neeld Hall. The glittering show will feature the popular Mike Smith Big Swing Band & singers who have thrilled audiences in Europe and throughout the UK for many years, including sell out shows in Melksham which raised thousands of pounds for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance. The band will be supported by world travelled Elektra Violin Duo.
The concert which is open to the general public, will on this occasion be raising funds for Julia’s House Children’s Hospice opening soon in Devizes.
Julia’s House Children’s Hospice was founded in Dorset in 2003 providing palliative care in the county either at the hospice or at the homes of those in need of their specialist care. The charity has expanded taking over redundant council buildings in Devizes and will now be providing this service throughout Wiltshire.
